This was the starting pose for Leostar's commission of himself and my character enjoying some, err, bonding time ;) The general idea of the image was for me to be buggering him, so, being a canine type, I decided to go with my favorite--doggie style!
I wanted to go with a good rump raised in the air pose for the bottom, but was having something of a hard time figuring it out in my head. However, I had a friend around while I was trying to work it out, so I handed him my camera, posed, and had him take a few shots for reference. That can really help out. :) As for the expression, I really got what I wanted out of it, even going with a less-realistic tongue poke/bite, going with the cartoony roots of the character design :) |
After I neatened up Leostar's character, I added my own, strategically positioning myself ;) I also added the ring to in my muzzle as a nod to the Sonic fanbase, and to sort of play around with the idea of the fox taking his ring while taking something else as well ;) The penetration shot I drew on a separate sheet of paper; after scanning it in, I was able to resize it and position it so it fit well inside the image area. That let me draw the close-up with no worries about constraints--all I had to worry about was the drawing, not size or fit, and kept those concerns from interfering. |
This is the hacked up version, in which I removed some elements, and resized others.
I had done Leostar's hair wrong on the right side of the character, so I erased it in order to redraw the dreads appropriately. I also resized his body, making him more in proportion to my own character. Also, I erased the ring in my mouth so I could redraw it, compensating for the muzzle angle. |
And here we have the final version, with all bits retouched, redrawn, added in, and defined. After this got approval, on to inking it went! |
